Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best famous for her role in Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. Her career began in the 80s before coming into prominence thanks to her character in the film Tezaab where she starred with an established actor Anil Kapoor. The next time she appeared on the screen was in Dil with Aamir. In her early years her Mumbai-born dancer started learning at an early stage. When she was still in high school, she tried her hand at acting, however most of her early movies were unsuccessful. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and was one of the most prominent actresses within the Indian film industry. The marriage of her mother led to a hiatus in her professional career. The actress returned in later years. In recent times, she was an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit is nominated in 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these, she has won 8. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her work in the field of social service is known to the world.
