Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress, best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Born in Worthington Ohio she quit high school to move in Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. She landed her debut role, as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. Her performance as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. film Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons. She was also awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace, who had worked alongside Tom Welling on The Fog during 2005, was looking to go to film. She was as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 and Taken (2008) with Liam Neeson. She reprised her role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern version to the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised the role of Shannon in two episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. The actress was featured in 2013's seventh season Californication.
