Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress, best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Born in Worthington Ohio she quit high school to move in Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. She landed her debut role, as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. Her performance as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. film Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons.
